There is DSA for year 5, I am one such student. But interestingly there is no interview. Interestingly most DSA applicants for girls apart from the ACS express steam boys. In total there are 20 successful DSA applicants for y5.

1. No. They get admitted to ACSI, which as you know has four possible types of classes — SBGE/IP, SBGE/non-IP, IP, non-IP. They will eventually have to compete for a place in the IB Programme in Years 5-6. It helps if they are already in the IP and remain in it throughout, although there are other points at which they can enter.

2. The IB Programme has nothing to do with SBGE at all. The GEP has never gone beyond Sec 4 (or Year 4), whereas the IBDP is a pre-university programme that takes place in Years 5-6.

Thanks autolycus! So am I right that the distribution to IP or Non-Ip depend on PSLE t-score and for those IP students who do not make it to IBDP, do they all proceed to ACJC only? I guess unlike those with 'o'level are able to apply other JC , am I right?
