      WTS:
Hi all Dear Parent, I have been following this forum for a while, just need some opinion regarding should i be putting my little one to RGPS or just a school near my place. My girl is fall under category 2A as my wife was an ex-girl, but we are staying at Punggol. Now my main concern is the distance she have to travel. Is there any one who are staying in Punggol or Seng Kang area ? wondering how long it takes via school bus to reach the school ? and is your little one coping well with the journey ? Hope to get some reply. Cheers.

Hi 🙂 I stay at Sengkang and my P3 girl is taking school bus.

For the last 2 years, school bus picked her up around 11.30pm and back by 7.10 pm on average.Understand that bus journey typically is around 35+ min depending on traffic condition, and also how many girls on the bus. For afternoon session averaged about 6 to 7 for combined P1 & P2.

For P3-P6, for this year there is a total of about 17-18 girls taking school bus based on my understanding.

The school bus serves the estates of Pasir Ris, Sengkang and Punggol (in that order). I am currently taking a lift from my girl’s friend staying at Sengkang. If not, according to this year’s schedule, my girl will get picked up at 5.50am. I stay at Rivervale Crescent.

The pickup time will vary according to exact location and number of girls on the bus for any particular year.

Mwchua : thanks for the advise, correct me if I'm wrong, if I enroll my gal next year she will be in the afternoon session for P1 and P2, except P2 will be in Mount Sinai.
