      Hi Everyone

      Was looking for the website pages which list down the ACE FOR COMPETITIVE EVENTS, ACE FOR NON-COMPETITIVE EVENTS AND ACE FOR SUBJECT-SPECIFIC EVENTS etc.

      Realised that they cannot be found on the new HCI website launched this week?

      Did anyone keep a copy of it? Could you please pm or post here if you have it. I particularly want to find out how ACE points are awarded for Math Competitions e.g. SMO. Will you get points based on participation or does one have to perform at a particular level?

      Thanks!

        Hi Sama the teachers will use some of the past year paper(esp Math)for EOY exam for practicing . Yr boy can also ask from his seniors if they still keep their pass yr papers usually they are v obliging to their juniors πŸ˜„ Don think there is any central repository for past yr papers.

        Hi mum42,

            You can find the past years EOY papers at the school library, where you can borrow and make photocopies.

              [quote=\"akaHCImomHi Parents,

              HCI has uploaded the Sec 1 Language Symposium for Parents presentation slides on HCI website. As informed by the EL n CL presenters, HCI will roll out remedial lessons immediately after the talk to help the weaker students. :salute: As stated in the last EL presenation slide, NO TUITION required! :boogie:

              Thanks, akaHCImom! πŸ˜ƒ :scratchhead: hmmm, I was told they are not allowed to. 🀷 Anyway, it's good news that they did post on the website afterall. ^_^

              They removed some slides.[/quote]

              Hi...where can I find the slides? MTIA

                Any DS went to support the Annual final Tracks & Field Championship at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium? It’s compulsory for all Sec 1 right? U know they sent them there but left them wandering home by themselves due to technical faults according to Mr Toks. Some of the boys were lost in the rain luckily a few secondary school students direct them the ways? Dun u find it v irresponsible of the school to do so!

                  Oops.. what does he mean by technical fault? My DS went (yes, compulsory for all Sec 1s), but cos we stay in Woodlands, I asked him to respond to the EMB with \"need transport to CCK stadium, but will make his own way home\" - and I went to pick him up from CCK stadium last night.

                    Did the school apologise to the boys for the messed up? They are good for threatening with demerit points to the boys and maybe they should give themselves some this time. LOL!

                      DS took MRT home. He found his way to the MRT. Think he found some friends and then took a bus to the MRT.

                        The transport arrangement was a mess, I agree. The heavy rain made it worse. DS told me there were supposed to be 2 batches (don't know how many buses for each) - one leaving cck at 6.45pm and the other at 7.45pm. Many of the students opted for the first and was led, in the rain, to the pick up point. They were then moved to a HDB void deck where they were told that due to miscommunication they would have to wait for the later bus. The teacher-in-charge then gave the students the option of taking public transport home (and directions I think). About half the group left but majority turned back after they found that the public bus was too crowded. That was 720pm. Then a bus turned up and they got all excited, went after it but found it was not theirs. So they continued to wait till around 745pm and found that the bus was \"there\" (not sure where) all the while but after they boarded, they could not find the driver. It was only around 8.05pm that they finally set off. I got live coverage from DS whilst I was in the car, crawling at snail pace along PIE from Kallang exit towards bukit timah πŸ™‚
