For kids who are both gifted and with learning disabilities, they are called twice exceptional.

              hey helplessmum3,

don't be depressed, let your kid grow at his own pace. you can surely help him along on the way. 😄
my daughter was a very late bloomer also, she didn't talk in sentence until she was around 4 years old. after that, she starts to talk like rocket . 😓

still talks alot and very fast. 😓
you need to always talk to your son also, the more they hear , the more words they learn.

Simply by u talking more to him. My boy only started talking at 2.5yrs old. Before that nothing. Now he’s chattering a lot and can tell me a lot of things. Previously, I can only ask yes and no questions becoz that’s the only thing he will say. Just yes and no.

Same here. Last time I need to phase my question in a way that he will just need to answer Yes or No. Now I make him ask me nicely for every single freaking thing he need help on 😂 Haha.

I am doing the same thing for no 2 as well. Make them talk more :boogie:
