      hi hi....

going to HK in Jun school holiday..... :rahrah:
has booked holiday Inn goldenmile -> any feedbacks?
is Jun a peak season for DL too?
We went in June 2 yrs ago. It is low season so crowd at DL manageable. But weather is very very hot and humid. We felt it was worse than singapore.

I also find Hong Kong, especially Disneyland very hot when I was in Hong Kong last year June. And I agree that it is much worse than Singapore.

I’m also going in June glad to know it’s low season and DL not that crowded. As for weather can’t be helped. I prefer hot to cold (as in dec) as the kids are less likely to fall mine. Mine are prone to cough and cold.

Actually if you stay indoors most of the time, then no problem. We didn't realize the heat till we are at Disneyland. But Disneyland also have lots of indoor rides and show, just happen that we queued very long under the very hot sun to take photos with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse (I think more than 1 hr - long queue and there are a lot of breaks in between for Mickey and Minnie to rest before they come back to continue the photo taking). We also waited for the outdoor car show in the hot sun longer than expected cause the show started later than indicated. If you skip this 2 and go for more indoor rides and shows, think it will be much better and you may not even feel the heat:) enjoy your trip!

Agree. The worst is not DL but Ocean Park. Mainly outdoor and DH and 2 DSs were literally drench in their own perspiration! DD and I took shelter in the panda enclosure πŸ™‚

I plan to spend some time in the panda enclosure too πŸ˜‰ Understand there's an area with kiddy rides in ocean park. Is that sheltered? Thanks.

Sorry can't remember much about kiddy rides cos OP was quite crowded compared to DL (seems to have more PRC Groups) and with that weather, I just wanted to get out. Personally, I still prefer theming of DL. OP more for the big kids ride.
