Thanks VSK, for your reminder and update... And Congrats to your DS for doing well in the Shi-han Test!

Finally managed to log into Stamford to view DS' test results (kept getting my password wrong, initially). DS got 4 marks for Math & Science, 2+ marks for HCL & History, and 3+ marks for the rest.

May I ask what's the total marks for each subject? Is it 5 or 6 or 10 marks? Is DS' performance considered OK? Sorry for asking so many questions, as I did not attend the Parent-Teacher Meeting. Thanks!
        Hi Firefly - u're welcome & thank u!

Just as Piglalala has clarified...each GPA score represents a range of marks. Well done to your ds too! He's done well for CA1. Let's hope they'll continue to do well in the MYCT (more weightage right?)
        Jia you.... :rahrah:

BTW, this thread is becoming international...not only your dses take 3rd lang, parents also take 3rd lang....nan de...nan de....

Anyone know what time does the lower sec students finish school( normal lesson) today? Need to call my ds but worried tt he may still be having lesson. Have text him but he did not reply. Feel like calling him till he picks up the call. 😞 Should ask ds to leave a copy of his timetable at home.

Ms Tay is the Jap Lang expert, not me.. I merely 班门弄斧 in front of her...

Afraid if we carry on our conversation in Jap Lang here, someone may jump out and shout \"hey, this is NOT a Japanese thread, ok!\".. like the last time we chatted in Mandarin here, remember?

Btw, does your DS take a 3rd Lang?

no he doesn't. but he expresses interest in taking computer as elective next year. Any idea if electives can help in GPA score?

                        vsk,

yes, it can. CEP IS an elective subject, same as 3rd lang.
