When my oven was still on warranty, the electrician came. Unearthed the oven connection and let the oven run for a while. Once the heating element is all dry, he reconnect the oven back and , Wa la! done!

My fren once told me about her husband doing it himself after the tech taught him the know how.

How to run the oven when there's no electricity?

No, no ... it has to do with removing 1 of the wires that will trip the circuit breaker when there is and overload.....
I dun do that. I just run my oven at the lowest possible temp that will not trip the circuit breaker. Takes a few tripping....
I can't do what the electrician does bcos mine is a built in oven. The electrical coonection are all fitted in already.
Once in a while when my oven trip, i just turn on again and run on a lower temp and it will be ok. Avoid using the broiler.[/quote]Thanks for your suggestion. I will try to run the oven on lowest temp and see if it will work. Mine is a built in oven too.

        Hi,

I'm wondering how well the Happy Call Double Pan will perform on a regular electric oven (not induction).
        Has anyone tried that?

        Best Wishes,
        inde
Happycall pan cannot be used in the oven. The handle is hard \"plastic\".

Don't quite understand your \"electric oven (not induction)\".

          Hi Inde,

A few of the ladies in the FB \"HappyCall experience and recipe sharing\" group did have their HCP use on electric stove but not oven. HCP cannot be used in the oven.

I guess my question is about the stove then.

English is not my first language, you know 😉

Anyways, the bottom of the pan looks kinda uneven so I'm worried if the heat from an electric plate will transfer well to the HCP.

Hi I am trying to make sweet popcorn but I keep failing though :/.. Can anybody help me find the recipe for SWEET popcorn .

                      Appreciated 😄

Not sure how you have fail. But try this method below:

                      Ingredients
                      50g butter
                      2 tbsp raw popcorn
                      salt

                      Directions
In a HCP, melt butter over low fire. After the butter has melted, stir in the popcorn quickly and make them evenly soaked in the melted butter (you have like 20 seconds to do that, you don’t want the corn to pop with the lid off). Cover the lid and no need to lock the HCP. Wait for the delightful popping sounds, off fire when the popping has stopped. Season with salt before serving.

Tip: Do not use too much raw popcorn because they really expand and fill up the entire pot =P

                      Adapted from : http://www.noobcook.com/freshly-made-popcorn/

what if i want SWEET popcorn instead of salty? do i add in suger instead?

People who are not comfortable with having their purchase shipped from outside Singapore will find this a good deal at only $3 more.

I only wonder if $72.90 is also their normal selling price, so I don't even need to purchase the BigDeal coupon?
