      Hi Champion

Wow., You are so good and so quick. How do you upload pictures so quickly. I spent ages yesterday, and I could only post the URL link.

Yes, that is the Concise First Aid In English - it is a stream-lined version oif the New First Aid in English. They are all from the same authors/publishers.

        Hi Optimistforum,

Good morning to you over there. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

I personally feel Practice Your English is more suitable for P5/6 onwards. WOW! You have the answer key! You are right that the year 2000 edition does not have the answer key which I am struggling to cross-reference to. Is it possible to scan a soft copy of the answer key and share with me? :please: I will be greatly appreicate it.

As for the Concise First Aid in English, it is more suitable for lower primary up to P4.

                    Hi

By way of context, this is what I use on DS1

Vocab - EPH P4 Complete Practice in Vocab, Grammar, Comp & Cloze.
Preston S1 Vocab (soon to start on this wonderful book).

Grammar - EPH P4 Complete Practice in Vocab, Grammar, Comp & Cloze

Cloze - SAP Conquer Your Cloze P3

Comprehension - Yet to find a decent OE/MCQ Challenging
Comprehension book (with more than 5 questions)
                    - Nanyang P3/P4 Exam Papers.
                    - I have bought assorted old O-Level English books,
which DS1 will embark on this autumn.

Creative Writing - New First Aid in English and Practise Your English.

Mathematics - P3 Challenging Maths by EPH, Sandya Sundhar (this
                    is superb)
                    - Looking for a suitable Maths IQ book, not Olympiad
as they are not that useful

                    General Ability - Australian books:
                    - http://www.pascalpress.com.au/SearchRes ... al+ability
                    - Assorted books from India (for college entrance)

                      Hi mummies

Just wondering how to allocate time for your kids to do all these assessment books...
Like many of you, I cant resist the temptation to buy assessment books all e time and never never learnt my lesson, always ended up with new books or terribly under-utilised ones...
With all the homework, enrichment classes & homework, the time left for assessment books is miserable.. of course also due to the speed my DS is doing... he will need to whip up his dictionary to check the meaning of the words before he can go on so he can take forever to complete one unit of each assessment book.

However still want to say a big :thankyou: to all the contributors here who have indeed \"enrich\" and \"ease\" the many mummies' lives out there when it comes to selection among mountains of assessmt books.. :rahrah:

Sorry, I do not have the titles mentioned.
