After the talks, which have been scheduled to end about 10+, DS (with RV boys) will go to the Esplanade for Choir practices and rehearsals. The Raffles Voices & The Raffles Chorale will be staging a Concert at the Esplanade tomorrow, 7.30pm-9pm.

After months of bearing with DS' non-stop crooning at home, we will be watching DS singing on stage, finally! Thinking back, there were many occasions when I asked DS to 'shut up', as I really needed some peace at home (like doing revision with DS2, watching a favorite TV programme, or just resting), but DS just couldn't stop singing! I am not sure if other parents, whose kids are in Choir, face this problem, but the situation got so bad that I even threatened to pull DS out of RV, if he continued to sing non-stop at home!

Thank God, as the days and months passed by, I began to get used to DS' non-stop crooning, slowly but surely. Now, I even find the house a little too quiet, whenever DS is not at home!

Tomorrow, as I watch DS sings on stage, my eyes will definitely be filled with tears.. Tears of regret (for chiding DS whenever he sings at home), or tears of guilt (for threatening that DS quit from RV), or tears of relief (for not insisting that DS quit from RV), or just purely tears of joy? Whatever it may be, it will be an emotional night for DS and me, and the family!

I noticed my DS also always singing at home though he is not in RV, he was not like this when in Primary school... just wonder is singing a common hobby for RI boys? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

So, does you DS sing like Jay Chou.. or Justin Beiber.. or ''Prata-Roti''? [/quote]My DS is in year 1 this year and he is in one of d musical CCAs as well, I m not quite familiar with d popular singers but I think he most likely sings Justin Beiber songs...
Last year I just did \"reading\" in KSP but never participate ....

I always make sure my DS reaches not later than 720. He said they have to report to class first to put their bags bf heading down to parade square for flag raising. I think official time is 725. Any other parents can confirm this?

if you are just in the gate at 7.25, you will be rushing like mad ...... traffic could be unpredictable .... they give grace period if there is heavy down pour or traffic situation like accidents on the road near school or tree fell across Lornie road situation

Year 1 | Local students | Post-PSLE
For Singaporean and PR students who wish to enrol into Year 1 with their Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) grades.

Please note that the PSLE Supplementary Intake Exercise is only for students who have not been posted to RI under the MOE Central Posting Exercise. For students who have already gained admission into a DSA school, students will not be eligible.

The PSLE results will be released on 22 November 2012 (Thursday) tentative.

Admission into RI is based on his merit (e.g. performance in the Primary School Leaving Examinations) and the choice of his secondary school. We do provide consultation services to help you with the range of choices available for your son/ward. The consultation dates are as follows:

22 November 2012 - Thursday (12 Noon – 5pm)
23 November 2012 - Friday (9am – 5pm)

Please submit the following supporting documents
- Photocopy of your PSLE results slip & breakdown of PSLE results by subjects (compulsory)
- Letter of Eligibility for Third language provided to you by the Ministry of Education, if any
- Letter of eligibility for Edusave (EESIS), if any
