These information maybe shared by the Principal during parents’ talk or available on the school noticeboards. So far, the website under Achievements (academic) do not show much. However, the school is doing equally well in other areas & competitions.

Dear parents, I’m enrolling my girl this year for P1 and deciding between Haig Girls and CHIJ Katong. Any advice?

Does Haig Girls have a well distribution of races? I notice many are non-Chinese?

          Hi parents!

My P2 nephew in another school has been loaded so with much homework daily. English and Chinese spelling in sentences every week. Not my cup of tea. I’m thinking looking for a school where my kid can balance between work and play. Thanks

Hello, my gal started P1 this year with Haig Girls. As she is my first child, I am also learning together with her as to what are the things taught in school for English and Maths. After leaving school for such a long time, I realised lots of things have changed from the time when I was in Primary 1. She started learning han yu pin yin at the start of term 1, learning number bonds which is something not taught during my time and doing short write-ups for English, etc…

I have a long way to go but I must say that things have indeed changed a lot and subjects taught nowdays are much more challenging.

Hi Jenfoo_9, may I know if you register your girl under what phase? Did you have to PV in order to get your girl into HGS? Care to share? We are now staying within 1-2km from the school. your kind feedback is much appreciated.

                  HGS Annual Open House

There’s an OPEN HOUSE coming up:

                  Date: 4th & 5th July 2012
                  Time: 8.30am to 12 noon

It will be a good opportunity to find out and learn more about the school.

Nowadays, areas near schools are getting more and more populated. So, even past statistics cannot say guarantee about the chances of your child getting in next year or many years later from now. Just look at the number of condos building and building ...

We brought our girl to attend the open house of HAIG Girls this morning, we have toured around the school, my girl loves the school premises and environment. However, we may not opted HAIG Girls as was told the school bus don't travel to my in-law place near Kallang MRT 😞
