I am the opposite. I applied Merderma ritually twice a day for almost 2 years but saw no results. Recently switch to bio-oil & find the scars lighter now. guess results vary with diff persons.

if it is light scar, bio-oil works well and you have to follow the instructions. i dutifully applied it and the scar faded within 2 months.

the scar is still there but it is very very light. all 4 of us use it.

if you are talking about a slightly deeper cut, then obviously it is not going to go away like what ds has on his face 😢 the cutter of a scotch tape holder was the culprit.

btw, you have to apply it on fresh cut/scars and not those that have been on your body for weeks.

You may want to try laser treatment for your pimple scars. They work quite well.

For your scar caused by a fall, it depends on what kind of scar it is. If it is a raised scar, you may need steroid injection. If it is a hyperpigmented scar, go for laser.

I also used bio oil, when I got in a accident last 2 years I used it religiously and it made the the scarring much less noticeable.

Boi oil will clear that right up if you apply it regularly.
