The airfryer may be a bit ex, but it's much healthier than a deep fryer cos no need oil at all. It also cooks faster and uses less electricity than the conventional oven.

It also took me a while to consider getting it, but I see it as a long term 'investment' when DD is older and we don't need to depend on a maid, can also teach DD to cook simple meals with the airfryer!

        How expensive is it???

the introduction is 349 (last mar )then few month (2 -3 month)
later increase to 409 now 299 (promotion price )

I tried fried salmon and ngoh hiang last nite using the airfryer. Turned out fine. Hubby loved the fried salmon, for a change as we have been eating steam fish most of the time. Washing was easy peasy as I used the aluminium foil so the frying basket not oily at all. Save time, save water! šŸ™‚

Hi angelight, consult u. When u used aluminum foil ...does that mean only the base or the whole basket?

only the base , cannot put the whole basket, need air circulation , if cover all , the cooking time will increase by alot .

            Hi

            Thank you for your advice.

1.Instead of aluminum foil, may I use a plate to hold the food during frying?

2.Has anyone tried to fry PNG KUEH using the air fryer?

            Best wishes

I used a screwdriver to \"pop\" the side off.

A friend taught me this method too. I place the foil over the groove of the base, press lightly to hold it's shape. Most oil collected at the centre ie where the foil is. This makes cleaning so much easier. If I'm cooking frozen food, sometimes I don't even need to wash the base.

In addition, she taught me to remove the net from the basket holder, I'm now able to give the basket tray and the net a thorough cleanup.

Hi, Blessed Homemaker - how do you remove the net from the basket holder?

Hi all, understand that model 9220 (only model available in Singapore) is different from 9225 because 9220 cannot bake. Can I buy baking tray (accessory) from Philips separately then add onto my 9220 model? Is it compatible? TIA!
