Mwchua : thanks for the advise, correct me if I'm wrong, if I enroll my gal next year she will be in the afternoon session for P1 and P2, except P2 will be in Mount Sinai.

Enrolling next year? Means start P1 in 2014? Then both P1 and P2 will be at Mt Sinai.

P1 2013 - wef January next year, your daughter study at Hillcrest, Bukit Timah (PM session).

P2 2014 - shift over to temporary Mount Sinai Holland (PM session).

P3 2015 - continue at Mount Sinai (AM session).

P4 2016 to P6 2018 - return back permanently to Hillcrest (single session AM).

Senkang / Punggol is very far from Mount Sinai.
thus for two years 2014 to 2015 - you may want to consider renting a place closer Mount Sinai to reduce shorter travelling time, eg: Ghim Moh, Buona Vista.

Actually, that is a good decision if u do nt intend to move near the school. Honestly Im living in town and Im very tired beating the jam in school and driving her for extra classes n curriculum for the past few years and now with supplementry classes, h/c and occasional workshops it can get quite stressing. Mine takes t school bus and even tho Im less then 15 mins away by car, my gir hv to be ready at 5.55am. Im glad shes now in P6 n 5 months left... I intend to choose a secondary school at a convenient location n with less traffic conjestion. Theres really so little time 4 my girl to rest.

perhaps Persevere for minimal two years first, before decide to transfer her out to neighbourhood school. Lower primary P1 / P2 workload is managable. The big jump in depth / content comes in from P4 to P6. Transfer her out to neighbourhood school is easier. The other way round more difficult.

Whatever happens, don't lose her RGPS report card (for future use).
No matter how many times you shift house, keep her report card safely. 30 years later - maybe your daughter get married, have a grand-daughter, stay very near to RGPS less than 1 km.

after 2016 turn single session -
our school may introduce new changes, to benefit more mainstream pupils. (all these in planning stage now) In due time when the season is ripe, the school will announce.
