I ever tried children multivit syrup…those dark brown ones which I remember taking even when I was a kid(!)…quite good…they felt less sleepy in the afternoon.

Also u can let them drink some chicken essence - it might help to increase their attention level in clAss
Thanks fightingmom...
no wonder i see many chicken essence posts here and there
Is chicken essence really good? Can take for long term? -
Studying is long journey of about 16 years. Kids at this age need at least 10 hours of sleep. My boy P4, wakes up 6am and nap about 2.5 hours every afternoon, at night sleep around 9.30am. That leaves about 2 hours of coaching at night. I do not allow him to go for remedial / supplementary classes & CCA not compulsory (also no CCA bus back home).
Not enough sleep how to concentrate in class? Parents have to weigh what is important and adjust priorities / schedule. -
Another way is to sleep earlier lor…perhaps 9~9.30pm.

wouldn't have happened if the school is within 1km..
Oops... OT.. :siam: -

No lei, my DD only has to stay back on Wed and Thurs. maybe becos her CCA is non competitive one bah.
-
Mine would be almost daily.
Hopefully all events finish by July for kids to come home early. Doesn't help for sec kids to be dismissed between 220 and 240 daily.

My DD shares with me once that if she feels sleepy in class, she will sip some water from her water bottle and she feels better. Wonder if that works for others
