It's for the TSOD Dance group. I signed up and then I overlooked the date so we missed it! :stupid: Now we have to wait for next year :slapshead:
And it's all my fault!
It's for Grade 1 and above kids. All classes held at McPhearson. Those selected will be trained for performances and competitions. I'm hoping they will set up dance group for the Yishun branch.
Imagine travelling to McPhearson for all those traning..so far.... :faint: -

but yes, hopefully by then, they would hv a TSOD class in Yishun.. cannot imagine gg all the way to MP -

Anybody's ballerina going for the Nov \"pre modern jazz\" exam?
Exams are good and they gain more exposure....but that also mean more coaching classes to go to....sigh..

She is patient.
My child love to learn ballet, under her. -

Tr Xu is a good and dedicated teacher.
She is a firm and hardworking tr.
My dd is learning ballet well, under her.
Tr Xu \"hen yong xin qu jiao\".
She put in a lot of effort & hard work, trained my dd plus a few more girls, in her group.
My dd ballet improved a lot, under tr Xu guidance, patience, hardwork, and firmness.
My dd is now ready to take \"Primary\" grade RAD ballet exam, next week April.
(2 months ago, my dd wasn't ready : as some of her dance steps were wrong)
Those interested to learn under tr Xu, may note her training times, at TSOD :-
Wednesday
Pre-ballet : 6 pm to 6.45 pm
Grade 3 : 6.45 pm to 7.45 pm
Primary : 7.45 pm to 8.30 pm
Sunday
Primary: 9 to 9.45 am
Grade 1 : 10 am to 11 am
Pre-ballet : 11 am to 11.45 am
Pre-primary (in dance) : 12 noon to 12.45 pm
Grade 3 : 1 pm to 2 pm
Pre-primary (coaching ) : 2.45 pm to 3.30 pm
Besides teaching ballet, tr Xu also teaches Jazz.
Every year :-
Ballet exam take place in April.
Jazz exam take place in October.
Since now is April,
6 months coaching for Jazz exam begin this month (April), train until October.
Parents whose dd are keen in learning jazz -
can sign up for 6 months coaching starting now, to prepare for jazz exam in October.
Besides teaching at TSOD (The School of Dance), tr Xu also teach at Bedok community centre :-

RAD ballet Grade 1 -
duration is 1 hour : from Grade 1 onwards.
45 minutes is only for Nursery (N2) to Kindergarten K2 girls.
Saturday
9.30 am to 10.30 am : Tr Tan Jia Jia
1 pm to 2 pm : Tr Jasmine Koh
2 pm to 3 pm : Tr Tan Jia Jia
Sunday
10 am to 11 am : Tr Xu Jin Yi
11 am to 12 noon : Tr Tan Jia Jia
Wednesday
7.30 pm to 8.30 pm : Tr June Lee (co-founder, of TSOD)
This Grade 1 ballet class start in May 2014, after RAD exam end in April.
Tr June Lee formerly had spent 22 years in Crestar, ballet.
Sch fees reasonable per Term, for 3 months. (12 lessons)
Some of my dd classmates come as far as :-
Sengkang, Punggol, Hougang, to attend ballet lessons.
Our ballet lessons come under RAD.
But jazz lessons come under CSTD.
