Is there any where we can find out the ratio of SC and PR staying near that sch? Or how many children are born in 2006 for that area Eg:Jurong West?

Why do you need such information? :scratchhead:

        Hi all!

This will be my first time registering my kid for Pri 1 (2013 intake).
Safe to say, I’m pretty clueless about it. I am staying within 1km from SJI Junior. However, neither hubby nor myself has any alumni/church affiliation or PV participation with the school. Which phase will I be applying under?

Thanks in advance for your kind response.

Why no chance? If u are within 1 km and under 2c, you still have a chance with balloting. it is still balloting for local only. Pr no chance.

First step is to register him under yours or your hubby former school. Then gauge your chances in phase 2c.

That is if you are local and not pr.

There's no way you can gauge anything just from the numbers given, if they are available at all. Too many variables, hence, no point fretting over the numbers.

At this stage now, you should have already done what you could for your child. Leave everything to fate when the registration starts.

Trust me, don't set any expectation at this moment. You will be pleasantly surprised.

                  Good Luck!

I am still uncertain about which school to register my daughter. Got 2 boys and 2 girls, thinking of co-Ed school. Hubby think neighborhood co-Ed schools not high class enough so wanted to put Marymount. But my boy will not have boys school to attend in my vicinity. So he says then boys go co-Ed lor… Haiz… Stress siah…

Hi, anyone knows what is "written evidence of overseas posting" in registration docs? My husband is working oversea and not in Singapore in July. I do not have his IC, very nervous. If finally I cannot get his IC, what will happen for the registration? I have finished the Parent Volunteers works. Thanks a lot.

This would mean, getting a letter from the company to say he is posted overseas from this date to this date as evidence he is working overseas or any other paperwork showing that. Can you ask your husband to get company to issue a letter for P1 registration requirements and you go down his company and take from their HR?
