        Thanks.
In general marks >80% is gpa 4, 70% to 79% is gpa 3.6, 60% to 69% is gpa 2.4, 50% to 59% is gpa 2 ... and so on (stated in the student's handbook)

Each subject's GPA is calculated base on the assignments, quizes, performance tasks, tests, file check ... etc , as for the weightage of each of them is unknown to us.

Average GPA for year 1 if i'm not wrong is calculated by taking the average of best 6 subject (including 1 language)

I see, so weightage of test and quizes are unknown...
For this mid year, will they know their GPA or have to wait till end of the year?

Wow, there is such a big gap (1.2) for the range of 70% to 60% from 3.6 to 2.4, whilst the other gap is only 0.4 for the other range. Is that really fair to the student who are scoring the average 60+% range?

Btw, any parents have heard of feedback regarding the Yr 1 papers? DS did not want to say anything, but I heard Maths paper difficult.

My DS said maths was tough, he has 2 questions which he confirm donโ€™t know how to do.

And they have received they geog paper yesterday.

My DS is very in consistent with his test and quizzes, thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m worried about the overall GPA.

My dd (sec 1) says science is super difficult...says that she will be quite happy if she pass....any of your child feels the same? ๐Ÿ˜“

she got back her geog yesterday, happy with her marks, wondering any full marks for that paper?
