Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I visited this thread. 😄

I'm glad DD has completed Maths and Science papers, both heavy duty papers. She made a careless mistake in Maths but didn't have time to change as teacher said \"pens down\". A few mistakes for Science too. In all, she too thinks she's able to get Band 1 for both subjects. Hmm, will wait and see. 😉

Now she's left with Chinese and Englsh papers next week. After that, we can totally let our hairs down. Woohooo! 🕺

Good morning & Happy Vesak Day!

My ds has tons of maths & science hw from his ft yest and he still can't finish his science which I'm clueless. But it's ok, as his science teacher(his daddy) is coming back later and then I can \"shake leg\" for a while.

Three more papers to go! 😓 and I'm keeping him on his toes. I just don't understand why is he so caught up with his story books reading at this time!

Ds2 also asked for the permission to read and finish a storybook this morning. I said ok. Told him that is considered as his break time. Afternoon must really focus on revision. Yesterday also no revision 😞

I adopting a revision-play-revision kind of method. DS1 legos are staring at him and I told him after tomorrow, I’m keeping ALL of his legos until end of SA1. He agreed.

Cos DS1 loves to fix, unfix his legos… and thats distracting him alot. I will let him play, relax… cos if study whole day, he’ll get angry n restless too. Also, the school had done most of the revision with them too , so I try not to overload him.

                  Hi all

Do you think it’s too early to start preparing our kids for PSLE 2014 now?

                  What is ur opinion?

Are we not ''preparing'' our kids for PSLE, intentionally or unintentionally, all this while (tuition, enrichment, school exams etc)? :scratchhead:

I don't prepare for PSLE but I prepare.Slow and steady.
I got panic last year, cos my son's maths marks go down and down for the whole year.SO I thought if in P3 he does like that in PSLE he sure die lah.So I wanted to work with him.People said P4 to P5 a big jump. Then marks will go down in P5.He managed to did the maths well in CA1,not sure for SA1.Now I found his compos so weak.now next I have to work on it.I don't know how to fix it.The solution should suit for him.Still thinking.
Next one is self motivation. This is the big fail part for me.
