I guess my question is about the stove then.

English is not my first language, you know 😉

Anyways, the bottom of the pan looks kinda uneven so I'm worried if the heat from an electric plate will transfer well to the HCP.
Yes it can be use on electrical stove. It is posted on Happycall Website. The reason why hcp cannot be use on induction is because induction require iron/steel to work. HCP is made of aluminum. Induction is built based on Eddy Current, the frequency to heat up iron/steel is different to heat up aluminum. Therefore if you use hcp on induction cooker, it will not start just like put a glassware on induction, there are not magnetism to \"spark the fire\".

Yay, just bought my pan and fried a fish and omelette with it today. Quite satisfied with the result esp when I didn't even use any oil. The skin on the fish was beautiful. 🙂

Can anyone tell me what does \"sealer\" or \"seal\" means?

Am trying to get the deep brown pan but need to clarify some doubts first.

Also, some sellers in gmart write things like \"Overheat may cause seal to fall out\". Something like that.

I am scared I may get a fake one as my mum, MIL, neighbors and myself all depending on me alone to get from a reliable source.

          Thank you in advance
          😓

The ones sold at United Square basement and Isetan are authentic. Just go and buy there. No need to order online.

The sealer is the silicone tubing that seals the pan when closed. It needs to be replaced when the pan begins to leak everytime you turn it over the other side.

Yup the seal is also known as the gasket. The gasket itself costs S$8. The guy mentioned I need to change the gasket every 6months if I cook every day. Do not take it out from the groove to clean separately.

Don’t overheat the pan if it’s empty. I use medium heat coz high heat burns the food inside very quickly and the downside is, you cannot see if the food inside is cooked or not when it’s closed.

Just buy from Isetan (prices mentioned in a post above) or Mega Electronics (S$99 for the large jumbo one, with or without grill. No medium size here.). They are running out of stock for the standard size.

Yah, Carrefour selling only the standard size I think at $69 with free gasket. But heard that they have run out of stock.

Std starts from $85, Deeper $88 and Red Jumbo Grill $99 (Rare, you don't find it at Gmarket)
                        .
May I know the price for the above three at Gmarket.
