wat skincare products r u using?

Been using clarins neck cream for years. Good!


But recently it gave me oil clots at the neck region. Not sure why this problem only surface now after using for many years.

did u go facials to remove e oil clots?

My beautician tried to squeeze for me but really too painful so I gave up.
Now I use clarins neck cream less often, probably once a week.

I switch to lab series night serum & weleda lotion on my neck. Less oily than clarins neck cream

i am not to sure either, just tried out for a week

was rather depress this 2 weeks as my face suddnely broke out, could be due to stress. then i read in some of the forum saying Hakubi sato is good. so i just try them out

i had tried Prune essence before too, but find it too sweet for me
took one box and stop before i can see result
does it really help in ur skin? how long u see the effect?

ya, tis essence is rather sweet. i'm not sure but my skin is less oily now. maybe, 2 weeks? but i dunno its cos of drinkin tis or cos of e products i use.

I cannot drink the essence range as I have gastric easily. Even after food, still will gastric. :sad:

Didn't try men's skincare before. what's the different between men and women skincare products?

Is it need to apply at least spf 50 to avoid pigmentation?
Oh no, have I been under-protecting? I've been using spf 30

I think not much difference between men & women skin care. I go for texture & smell. I like lab series texture, pretty light, except for the face cream. Even its sunblock smell nice. In fact, I think its eye gel is slightly better than clarins, glides on so easily and can apply eye make up immediately

And I thought I can share with dh. But he's usually too lazy to apply moisturiser so mostly I'm the only one using

ladies, what about make up remover? do you believe in branded ones?


My gf swear by fancl oil. I tried the sample, didn’t like it le. I still prefer my cheap cheap make up remover.

I’m using nivea for eyes & neutrogean deep clean for face. Neutrogena can be use for eyes too but somehow I feel that nivea cleanse better for eyes.

Even when not applying make up, I would sometimes use neutrogena to cleanse before using facial wash

Speaking of facial wash, I like neutrogena too. My mum swear by skII and kept prompting me to switch.

Hmm… I thought it’s kind of wasteful to use such an expensive facial wash, got to wash off anway. I rather pay more for moisturiser than facial wash. But my gf said cleansing is the most important step so she rather invest on a good cleanser.

What do you ladies think?

for oil clots, my beautician pricks the skin with a needle first then press the yellow stuff out, it is painful but shiok.

i dont use makeup remover because i dont use make up like eye shadows, foundation, eye liner, mascara etc.

i dont use expensive facial wash either. i will use those facial wash commonly found in watson, ntuc etc...sometimes i will use facial soap bar.

Sometimes branded stuff does not mean they work well de..
Bought Bobbi Brown remover and totally amazed at how ineffective they are....short of disposing them... :stupid:

if you use sunblock,you still need makeup remover to remove sunblock. If not it will still clog your pores.


I use SPF 50 on my body and 30 on my face. Usually 50 too greasy for my face. Try not to use whitening on face without any sunblock. Hydroquinone is one of the most common ingredient found in whitening cream, if you do not use sunblock with whitening cream it will react to sun causing more pigmentation.

Yes, I usually have a few range of skincare to cater to different needs of the face. Sometimes the face may appear dry, then I will slap on hyaluronic acid. Sometimes I start to get pimples, I use another range for acne skin.

I still have pigmentation using spf50. I prefer higher spf as I am lazy to wash and reapply. My husband says I put sunscreen even when I stay at home so I got clog pores.

For cleasing oil, I prefer those I can apply straight with hands and wash off. Lazy to use cotton pads.

My husband always laugh at me says that I am lazy yet I want to look pretty, when I told him I am searching for those leave on masks where can wash off fast after 10 minutes.

For me, even in the morning I use cleasing oil. At night no sunscreen applied.

Cleasing oil remove oil from my oily skin.
