          Hi,

Appreciate anyone's help for this question.

The diagram, not drawn to scale, shows two similar triangles and quadrants. Find the area of the shaded part.

                Hi

P6 students will be well versed in finding out the area of square when its diagonal is given.

Shaded area -------- Area of semi circle of radius 10 cm - area of square with diagonal 10cm

                Shaded area -------- (3.14*100)/2 – (10*10)/2 --------- 157 – 50 ------ 107

                Best wishes

                      Hi Tianzhu,

Sorry still unable to draw this out on a model diagram:
A has $900 more than B. A gave B some money. In the end B had $880 (as not $800 as previously stated more than A. How much did A give B? :?

                      Can you advise, thank you
