Thermomix - reviews
-
I have done lots of research and read all the reviews. It has received great feedbacks but doesn’t seems to pick off here.
I am just wondering if any forumers own this machine and if they bought it from TOTTS or a Thermomix representive? -
I’ve been eyeing one forever! Very ex tho… Anyone actually using it? On a separate note… Is this the right forum to post this in?

Hello,
Yes after a lot of thought, deliberation and saving, my husband have finally purchased a Thermomix a year ago
I have fall in love with it and cannot go without it daily.
It is definitely worth the money getting, especially if you have children at home.
It is a brilliant time saving tool that allows you making a lot of things easily from scratch.
Hmmm . . . . it is just like a \"German Maid\" at home

May I know how much you pay for it ? There seems to be some kind of similar machine selling in Tangs, do you think it is in the same league ?Hello,

It was a gift from my husband last April.
I am sorry that I do not know the exact price but heard from him that it cost around S$2300 to S$2500.
I am not sure about the one selling in Tangs.
It is definitely worth getting it if you have some kids at home.
Cheers! -

why ? because it is easy for kids to use ? or because it can cook kids stuff easily ? so a lot of blended stuff ? Sorry for so many question, because i am also thinking of buying a vitamix (blender), but if thermomix can do the blending job as well as vitamix, then may be i can just invest on thermomix.

I read your earlier post on Wed Apr 04, 2012 2:58 pm.
I think you would have a clear and basic information on Thermomix up to this point.
Ha ha ha ........... I was in your situation a year ago.
Both my sisters and mum own a Vitamix.
After some research on both, I fell for Thermomix.
If you are keen on attending the demostration, please email me.

If you are on FB, there is : "my Thermomix experience" that tells you quite a bit about it and there’s also "Thermomix Singapore" who occasionally conducts no obligation demos.
If you like to do things the traditional way, I dont think this is the machine for you. For some of us, pounding our own rempah is the way to go, this machine blends everything and the consistency vs traditional pounding is of course different.
Also, I think the priced in Singapore went up at the end of April from abt $2300 as sold by the tmx rep. Not sure what the price is at retail outlets.
