      Must go!!! Must go!!!

I spent 3 hrs there today.

It's a treasure trove for those looking for fiction and non fiction novels and books for kids 3 years and above.

I saw loads of Michael Morpurgo, Geromino Stilton, Dr Suess, Enid Blyton, Judy Blume, popular and classic fiction, titles by Usborne and Disney. I also managed to get something by Richard Scarry. Just looking at the titles by Enid Blyton transported me to my childhood days when I would devour Mallory Towers, Amelia Jane etc .... So tempted to buy them, hardcover somemore!!

The condition of the books are excellent too.

The other good thing was that the staff kept unloading titles after titles of books very often. That's why I say it's a book lover's haven there.
In fact, I have to say this is by far the best book fair I have been in terms of condition and price of the books.

My main buys were kids' books, non fiction, parenting books and I finally managed to purchase my first Nigella Lawson, something which I have always shied away from cuz of the price πŸ˜„

I am just back and it’s really good buy! Yes, by far the best book fair I’ve been to and price is fabulous. Managed to get lots of kids and adult books too - just too good to miss. Good that I brought along a trolley bag and stuff all my books in!

Btw, where do you receive info of such book fair?

Btw, where do you receive info of such book fair?[/quote]I didn't know about it until someone posted the info on this thread. Think its on the previous page. I didn't intend to go actually cuz the book cabinet is overflowing, and there are bags of books under mine and DH's study table. But it so happened that I woke up early on Sat, DS1 had a sleepover at MIL's, DH was sleeping peacefully, so I left DS2 with helper, took the car and 'escaped' πŸ˜‰

When DH finally woke up and called, it was too late, I had made payment liao πŸ˜† but I did promise him that I will clear the 'old stock'. So looks like I have to make a few postings over at the Garage Sale thread πŸ˜‚

Autumnbronze, now that Hquek has mentioned about checking the Singapore Expo website, I'm sure you will plan for the early Sat morning wake-up in Jun πŸ˜† Don't worry, I'll probably plan for an \"escape\" too to go to the next sale
