While many products used celebrities as spokesperson, I don't 90% buy this advertisement.

Am sure when you see full page blown up and closed up picture of celebrities promoting a brand, she always look beautiful, skin so wrinkled free, no blemish, no eye bags blah blah blah, you know it is fake.

All lines, blemish spots, eye bags, dark circles have been erased.

I prefer to get info from k s p and friends who have used them before.
Yup.. ..after seeing how Maggie Cheung's actually look like.. Scary de..
She reminds me of DoDo Cheng..

I used Loreal HydraFresh non-shine gel moisturiser. Very refreshing when apply on skin. My face quite oily, but this gel managed to keep it matt for the day if I'm indoor most time. If out in the open for too long, maybe will feel a little oily again!

Sounds good but will this dry skin up? I got dry skin+pimples.

Wonder should I try this product?

I hv oily skin so I find this quite ok for day use. So far, doesn't find it to clog pores or cause pimples. I only have outbreaks nearer my menses period.

For night, as I'm sleeping in air-con room, I'll use the serum + a moisturiser which is richer, such as SK II moisturiser or even Platinum cream from La Prairie. That platinum cream v v ex and v rich too. I'm given one small sample container which has last me many many month cos I use a little once a fortnight after I completed my scrubbing and mask so as to ensure my face is cleanse and able to absorb all the goodness :).

ladies, what about make up remover? do you believe in branded ones?

Speaking of facial wash, I like neutrogena too. My mum swear by skII and kept prompting me to switch.
i'm lazy to remove eye and face makeup separately so I have been using Fasio makeup remover since i started to wear makeup. it removes all makeup thoroughly and won't make skin greasy after use. i also try e Silkygirl makeup remover cos it also has the same functions and it said can whiten skin lol.

ur mom is using skII facial cleanser? i think it's no good for oily skin cos it drys and burns my skin and it's costly.

Monthly facial also helps. If your complexion is fine, not many problems, just go for normal wash.

What's the difference between facial normal wash and home done normal wash?

Heard of people going for face washing in facial salon, but wondering what's the difference.
Yes, la mer is expensive. But i only use it once a day (no need to much), it can last a long long time for up to a year.

last up to 1 yr ?? Wow....that is very long.
The problem with me is that i often used my facial products rather generously, so cant last for a long time.
For eg eye cream, the 15 ml one can only last me for 1 over month.

Nothing wrong being kind or generous to oneself šŸ˜„ but 15ml lasted 1 over month? Wah.... U sure is generous.
15ml maxi last me 2 weeks only. šŸ˜‚

So far can only use eye gel. Cream too heavy for me. Will get oil seeds

Normal facial in saloon will cleanse, steam, remove oil clots, blackhead, white heads, pimple on your face and chin. Eye brows are trimmed and face massaged. Follow by face mask.

Home done facial, for myself, is just a wash daily, scrub once a week, face mask twice a week. Eye brows I can pluck but not trim. I like face massage by others. Pimples if you don't do a good job yourself, you end up with broken reddish skin.. Very unsightly. Black and whiteheads easier to remove but my beautician does a good job.

Face washing, I dontnknown :? What is that?

Any good recommendation for water-based gel for face? As light as possible cos I can't stand oiliness.

Tried to apply moisturiser twice a day (usually only once at night) to reduce fine wrinkles & dehydration, face start getting oily & pimples
U can try Hada Labo cleanser though its foam type cos it moisturies oily skin and ur face feels matte for few hrs. now i seldom use moisturizer cos i find it still makes my skin oily even at nite.

For oily skin, still need hydration le. My beautician said mine is oily on the surface but dry inside, need moisturiser
Come to think of it, most of you are using branded stuff. I wonder if I am missing something? I have tried biotherm, skii, ester lauder, clinique but always end up using those cheaper range. Not exactly on a budget though but somehow the high end ones have never got me hooked...

My only expensive one is la mer cream. Others mainly from body shop and counter type... Not ex at all.

I always buy from parallel importers. I bought the entire clarins range at 35% off shelve price, very affordable yo

wow La mer ! is it really good?
Sleepy,
Do u know of any parallel importers that sell Biotherm. I like their water base moisturizer, but a bit ex for me to buy direct from the stores.
