er.......1-2 weeks not necessary unless one has very bad skin condition which i think national skin centre is a better place to go.

hope yours is not a major problem.........
how often do u go? 😄 cos when i go once or 2x a month, e beautician will say not enough. i have combi skin which is not bright-looking.

besides the combi skin condition, any pimpes or red patches etc on your face all the time?

i have dehyrated skin with oily t zone but a rather clear complexion, no pimples here and there, no red patches…so only once a month.

i find once a week a bit too harsh for my face…unless i have major problems.

if the face condition not so good, then yes necessary to go once a week and gradually the beautican should reduce the no. of times you need to go. cannot be once a week for more than half a year…and still no improvement…

I go facial 1.5 month. Don't like to lay down flat for at least 1-2 hours. Will become stiff. 😂

Pimples, blackheads, seed oil, wrinkles, everything also got. 😉

But going facial can have a few days better skin, then blackheads back again.

I try to avoid going facial when got pimples.

i mean cleansers which state that they can remove makeup as well.

i read that used tea bags and cucumbers can lighten the dark circles. did u try b4?

this neutrogena deep clean is a makeup remover?
Yes, neutrogena deep clean is a make up remover. After cleansing, I use facial wash to wash again.

Yes, I think I tried the cucumber when I was a teenager, no effect le. I have dark circles since p6. My dd1 has dark circles too, since toddler. Asked pedae & he said it's due to sensitive nose which I have too, so I guess there's no cure for our type of dark circles.

I looked sickly & haggard without eye make up, very easy to get MC from doctor

So if participate in those kind of programmes where they compared difference before & after make up, I should have good chance of winning because 反差很大 😆

I always envy girls with good skin. Just put lipstick already bing bing, look so nice. No such luck le. Skin also not perfect, open pores and acne outbreak on & off :gloomy:

Me the opposite. I love it when she pricked my skin to take out the yellow stuff...the squeeze, the pain...it is like all my inner stress is getting out if my ody together with the dirt. I love the pain.

My beauticians told me to go twice a month too. I think they suggested that because
                    1. They want me to use up the package faster so can sign new package with them
                    2. Easier for them to maintain every 2 weeks, less blackheads or oil seeds to squeeze
                    3. Can justify that they produce result because face will be so clean

I used to go once a month. Now twice to thrice a year, especially when I feel my eye brows need a trim.
Too far from my house la, not going to renew package, need to source for a much nearer salon

now also having facial at hdb estate.

i only go to those recommended by close friends.......and choose one who has been in the estate for at least a few years.....less likely to fold up shop or move elsewhere. my current one is at an old estate so surroundings a bit dirty but so far so good.........
How much did you pay for facial at HDB estate? Did you sign package?

I called one near my place recently. Asked that beautician whether she used disposable needle (to prick the skin before squeezing) and she said no.... My current facial using disposable facial cotton (not resuable sponge) and disposable needles le.

I’m wondering how much you ladies pay for facial session. I’ve been to those chains and really don’t like the "push sales" techniques employed. I just want to feel relaxed and comfortable there. Looking for facial with good massage sessions - I like those that can give a good shoulder and back massage so can make me feel more relaxed.
