Mulberry Learning Centre
-
Hi Parents,
Can anyone name me or recommend me any teachers who you find its good, convincing, caring on Mulberry Learning Centre. I may want to look for that teacher when I’m shopping around to Mulberry. Heard the school are great… -
I've put my girl at Mulberry infant care @ Acer early this year.
And I'm having doubts about my initial decision.
Do any parents feel the same or like-wise?
Appreicate all feedbacks.
TIA

Hi,
Not sure how existing mummies think of Mulberry Acer Infantcare? It gives me marvellous impression day one since I stepped into it. it's spacious, very clean and tidy. Most imptly, I'm impressed because of the teacher quality. I saw 3 chinese teachers aged 40plus, very experienced and loving.
It started small (with 3 to 4 kids only), now, it is around 12? And I saw the recruitment of 2 younger indian teachers. I'm quite worried because I felt that they are quite young... And I found out from other teachers they do not have kids yet...
As the school fee is quite steep, I expect certain quality of teachers. I am willing to pay for the premium if the standard remains.
Any opinions from other mummies?
Hi Mummy.
I wonder have u started ur infant at mulberry acer? Need ur feedback.
Thanks

Hi Melody,
Had started Mulberry for quite some time. The school does not disappoint me, the teachers are marvellous. There are new teachers, but they are very skillful and patience with the kids. I also like their food menu, my boy always love school; I think he likes school more than home.
Heard that the school fees has increased, but now there have a total of 18 babies in their list; which means 2 more to go until it hits its capacity. I guess I won't change my son's school.
As for infant's teachers, the head of infant team is Tr Winnie. I also like Tr Serene and Tr Shirley. They are the pioneer infant teachers in the school

Hi
Has anyone place their kids with the two new outlets, Tanjong Pagar and Raffles Place? Would appreciate if you could provide some feedback on the environment and the teachers there. Thank you very much. -
Any recent feedbacks on this centre? My friend has her child in the Tanjong Pagar branch. Said it’s good. But I’m residing in jurong. Hence, wants to know the review of the branch in Jurong.

Hi, my girl who is now 1 is attending the infant care at Raffles… Initially the centre looks really good, the principle is very nice, teachers are very friendly and helpful… They also have a time table paste outside showing us the activities they planned for the infant thing like showing english and chinese flash card…
Things were good during the first few months, but later we come to find out that it wasn’t as good as we thought, the teachers start to heck care the kids, when we fetch my girl from class, she has porridge stains (a lot of stains and very obvious ones) on her tee and face… she was having flu and there are dried mucus around her nose and mouth areas… I don’t care what happened in the centre since we can’t really see what they are doing in the day, but at least when we pick her up, we hope to see a clean baby…
and when the principle say us, she didn’t really say hi to us, not as friendly as she used to be when we newly joined, she only attend to those new babies… and the activities we see in the file are always things like gross motoring (it’s an area where they are some blocks of cushion, swings, slides, playground like things around) for the kids to play, or sing along session (80% of the week is this activity), it doesnt look as good as what they planned for the kids… Many of the teachers are from china or malaysia, 90% of them are chinese speaking, not much english conversation, so it didnt help to expose my gal to english which we tot it would if we send her to infant care. i always see those chinese teachers speaking mandarin to malay and indian kids…
The fee is very high compare to other infant care centres, we don’t feel worth it to pay this fee for what they are providing. We intend to change her to other centres once there’s vacancy. -
