For my son, it is Chinese. Chinese teacher announced his marks in class today and that he has one of the lowest marks in class since he barely passed. Well he can come back and tell me about it as if it doesn't matter. :frustrated:

Regret not doing something about his chinese when he was in lower primary. Now i don't know whether it's too late. But still have to push on.
Same for my son. Results not in yet but he said the compre passages were hard so I am bracing myself. Now, I stopped thinking whether it's too late, just try to inch forward every single bit and :xedfingers:

          Hi ,

Was reading some threads and saw this from the topic : Secondary School Openhouse 2012. For those keen to bring your DD and DS to take a look at some schools , I have copied the following details for your easy reference:

          Girls' School
          NYGH - 19 May 2012 from 8am to 2pm
          MGS - 19th May 2012 from 8.30am to 2pm
          SCGS - 19 May 2012 from 10am - 4pm
          Cedar Girls' School - 26 May 2012 fr 8am to 1pm

          Co-Ed
          DHS - 24 May 2012
          SST - 19 May 2012 from 8.30am to 4.30pm

Those schools that are not stated above, I guess you can just go to the school website to check out the details.

          Cheers !
Can confirm the open house for Dunman High? There's no information on their website and I've called the school twice. The admin said it could be on May 26 but not confirmed yet? It was only last week! :stupid:

Same for my son. Results not in yet but he said the compre passages were hard so I am bracing myself. Now, I stopped thinking whether it's too late, just try to inch forward every single bit and :xedfingers:

I am pulling my hair out figuring what went so wrong. He had Chinese tuition since P1 and I would say he had foundation, but when he went to P4, foundation was shaky. Even if it is very late, I cannot give up...this is last hurdle and really really thank goodness there is still June.

Yes, you are right. No point regretting. Just have to keep trying and keep fingers crossed.

So this coming June have to work on that area.

As for compo, we just have to write more and must teach my DD to 审题 carefully so as not to write out of point. Her HCL almost write out of point in this SA1 :faint: so I told her lucky it's not the big day else the marks will really suffer a lot.

I am suffering in P3 itself. I cant think of P5 or P6. Hope I can sustain thro' the journey.

                        Hi HAPPYH,

一步一步来。build the foundation well in P3 and P4. No point scaring yourself.

Thank you fightingmom. Yes, I will try my best to build the strong foundation.
