My younger DS went for d 14 April SMOPS competition I felt even more strongly for d boys n sch when I saw how the boys put in every ounce of energy to run the events without any help fr their teachers( no HCI teachers r there , can see d trust d teachers n organizer has for d boys) . All logistic r done by them from load of buses reaching HCI , giving direction ,registration ,leading participants to exam class , refreshment for other sch teachers n parents, take charge of running the exam process to coordinating which sch buses to come in first to pick the participants.

So impressed by the boys n so thankful i was right in choosing d right sch , they have trained the boys so well not only academically but also leadership even there were some hiccup here n there.

This event is run by Aphelion consortium, think also NCC uniform group :udaman: :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:
dear mum42, I couldn't agree with you more; that's was also my very first impression when we went for the open-house some years back. The event was run completely by the students themselves. Fortunately, both of my sons were also impressed enough by the hands-on classes conducted that they decided to choose HCI over RI. Both had turned out very well and are pursuing their first-choice course at NUS.

even today, they go back to visit their teachers every now and then; teachers with whom they had become friends now.

Hi Kiasuest2 :hugs: :celebrate: Same here ,my 1st DS has also chosen HCI over RI as he felt more at home with HCI even he knew he will be struggling with his Chinese . This year my younger DS doing his PSLE also wanted to follow his big brother footstep. He has asked us to take up HCI coach offer for him without second thoughts even though it was RI coach who has offered him a place to do DSA first. Hope he will get into HCI like 1st DS . :xedfingers:

Hi, I’m new here. My son in ispark consortium. Generally, I find the parents here not as warm as other branded schools threads. Isn’t because of the weather or …???
