even for history, it's not like my time long ago - we just regurgitate whatever we memorise. If your ds can get 4.0 for history, his inference skills must be very good then! Well done! :salute:

My ds' inference skills have always been poor. And I heard next term English they are going to do poetry - also need to analyse. I fear for him. I heard his seniors English dropped from 4.0 to 2.0 after poetry was introduced.

eventhough 2.0 is passing overall GPA, but during the parent's briefing earlier in the year, if I am not mistaken, RI recommends that those who get below 3.2 to reconsider if the child should stay put in RI. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Spoke with the P recently. They speak with the boys and the parents if the result is below passing / below promotion grade. They will give 100% support to the kid to remain in school. Any transfer out is initiated by the students/parents, not the school.

Dont be too worry ..I strongly believe tt ur ds will do well for the next exams as he has very positive learning attitude . My ds didnt do well for the previous exams too .
