Hi puff, do you scrub the toilet floor and wall tiles when you wash toilets? Or just use water and spray? 🙂

Micolih, how much is your iclebo and where did you get it? does your washing machine come with a dryer, or you have to get a separate one?

I spray 'mr muscle' first n leave for 20mins before I scrub both wall n floor tiles.
My Iclebo is ard $800++ . I've use close to a year n the machine did give me some problem (the wheel cannot turn properly) but the after sales service is superb. The boss reply is prompt n he came to my place to fix the problem. With John Ackerman I can't say the same. My experience with them wasn't that pleasant, 4 years ago when my Irobot first time giving me problem with the suction I bring down to the service center n I was reprimand for not cleaning the robot well. I wrote a complain n subsequent visit was much better but service is slow.

I am loathe to throw the floor cloths into the washing machine (I think that my helper did this previously but then, I was too busy to bother), so we have been using these orange floor cloths (looks like the Shamwow cloths which are being promoted at the supermarkets) which are smaller, thinner and easier to hand wash. When it gets too grubby or dirty, I throw them out. Issue is - they don’t look nice at all and all my "better" floor mats are sitting in the storeroom un-used.

Any suggestions for a more pleasant looking solution which I can still wash without using the machine?

I got my iRobot from a local parallel importer and so far service and questions are attended to promptly. It’s been a year since I got my Roomba and Scooba. So far all well and good.

psle2011mum, I throw in the floor cloths into the washing machine. It there are dirtier than usual, I soak them first and then put them into the washing machine. After the washing is done, I will do a short run with hot water to wash the washing machine before I use it for cloths again.

How about a smaller and cheaper washing machine just to wash the floor cloth? I am actually contemplating that because the number of floor cloth that I use concurrently and the frequency I change them make them quite a chore to hand wash.

Anyone else here using iclebo? I've seen it advertised in the newspaper. Thought of getting one. But I've read negative reviews on it on overseas websites.

i used it for 2 weeks now.. am happy with it !! either irobot or iclebo both will work. save time on sweeping and mopping.. u can use this time to cook dinner.

Yes, can steam non-stop and don't have to wait after refilling of water. I bought at $520 from Harvey. But I think you can check with Parisilk. Should be cheaper there. In fact, you can just get a new brush for kitchen if you are worrying about the hygiene issues. I don't see the need for getting a new steam cleaner though.

One thing good about this steam cleaner is that it can be attached to a steam iron (from Karcher of course) for ironing. Will get that only when my current steam iron has spoilt 😛

Hi, thanks for yr feedback. The SC4100, is it the one that can steam non-stop, as in, you dont have to wait before you add in water. May I know how much you pay for it, and from where? Thinking of buying another one, just for the kitchen. Because the current one I have, we use it in the toilet, so I dont want to use it in the kitchen.
