Hi! May I ask which assessment book or school past year paper did you get this question?

Don't remember seeing or reading this part of notes in any of the guide books (maybe I am a slow reader :razz: ) but in my opinion, I would think that insects go through internal fertilisation as insects have embryonic development within a waterproof egg.

Life cycle of an insect:
An insect goes through several stages of development in its life cycle.
Metamorphosis refers to the way insects develop, grow and change their forms.
There are 2 types - incomplete (3-stage life cycle e.g. Grasshopper) and complete (4-stage life cycle e.g. Mealworm).
