Is she a big eater? Bcos I m surprised she can wolf down noodle +prata within 20 min. Might really b bad case of indigestion as prata will expand in tummy afterwards.

She complained feeling sick after eating the maggi noodle and prata. There is one particular time she vomitted in school. She was holding a plastic bag when i reached school. From this incident, she kept calling from school claiming discomfort after recess and whenever i asked her to buy food from school. Now, I'm trying to pack food for her everyday and hence no excuse from her of complaining sick after eating the food.
I hv sent an email to her FT after I found out that there is a regression in her 2nd term result and also numerous careless mistakes made in her worksheet. She fared well in her 1st term result. Her FT claimed that she is no longer feeling enthusiastic about her study and less participation.
Not sure whether it's due to the teacher as she denied the teacher scolding her. She has lots of friends, some even from her preschool. No particular reason from her. Will continue to monitor her and
that she is okay after holiday. :xedfingers:
Her FT didn't say much over the phone, juz claim that she lack of enthusiastic in class and asked whether i hv sent her for any tuition (she tot my girl cannot catch up with her lesson). However, I chat with my girl yesterday regarding her school's issue, she said that her FT didnt select her whenever she raised her hand for quiz time. So your guessing might be correct that she feels bored in her FT's lesson as her FT has lesser attention toward her. I can't blame her FT as she needs to take care the whole class of 30 students. What i can do now is trying to talk sense to her. -

During P1 & 2, he just bought canteen snacks like steam buns, pizza, 2 pcs of cheese tofu etc, so that he can play awhile w friends afterwards. I'm not worried as he had a full lunch at home. It's only from this yr then he is hungrier by mid a.m. after a light breakfast & started eating rice & noodles during recess. -

Oh dear! No wonder my girl complained feeling cold in her class and she packed a sweater in her school bag. However, she told me that aircon was replaced by fan for few days due to breakdown. Imagine the contruction is still ongoing, weather very hot in pm....classroom must be quite stuffy. Even hmfd also increased in ori sch. So really must take care n away from crowds when immunity is low.
I heard from ds that aircon is often set at 18degrees by the pm session sharing his classroom while his tr set a rule said can only set at 25degree.
Perhaps it's hotter in pm, but imagine the contrast after pe n recesses.

DS was having fever on/off for the past few weeks. After 1-2 days he went back to school after fever subsided, he will complained to teacher that he was having fever again. Each time, he was tested at the General Office for having fever.
I suspected it is the aircon room which spread the virus around..but again, it was my suspicious. I feed him more vitamins now to increase his own immunity. Was surprised to read similar cases as him. -
Ya ds' face is always flush after a attending supp class in non air con room in pm. Wonder how he had survived last 2 yrs? Ha...
Btw, some seats nearer to the aircon r colder than the rest.ectanz:

Hi, anyone has latest info which days the school’s dental clinic opens? It used to open on Tue & Fri last year but it seems it changes again…nobody answered calls on both days so I wonder when they open now. GO’s staff also not sure!..sigh. Other school’s clinic opens 5 days a week. It is so inconvenient and hard for my son to see dentist nowadays.

They concluded cavities in her 4 teeth and required filling in her next round check-up. Till now, they havent "summon" her for further treatment. Please advise whether my girl needs to go down and make appointment with the clinic or eventually they will ask for her.

After a check up, the dental staff said there was a tooth cavity and that my child needed a root canal procedure which could not be done on the spot as there were already 2 students waiting to see her. The staff cleaned the cavity and told me that she would \"summon\" my child again. However, the pain did not subside the next few days and I was so worried that I immediately took my child to see a private dentist who said that the decay was very serious and needed an immediate root canal treatment. True enough, when the tooth was extracted, I could see that half of it was decayed. The dentist discovered 2 more serious cavities and I decided to let my child have the treatment at the private dental clinic as I did not want to wait. Since you mentioned that your gal has 4 cavities for a few months, it is best that you book an appointment with the school clinic to get them filled before the condition worsens. It may not be a good idea to wait to be \"summoned\" as the school dental staff has to see so many students and thus you most likely won't know when it will be your child's turn. Otherwise, you may want to see a private dentist like me. No doubt, I had to spend a bomb on the treatments but I am glad that my child's problems are fixed ASAP. Just my humble opinion ~ It's your call. -

Previously, we hv brought her to consult private dental when she was in preschool. Not familiar with p1 but my child just got her report book and I want to find out what percentage is considered okay or normal? Must it be between 90% to 95%
? I wish to find out so that I can work on her improvement during school holidays
