OMG, can see the rain is really heavy. Crowd still there ah? Can still hear them - and the trumpet.
Think just ended. Crowd dispersing now but still can hear the drum, the trumpet and the supporters' cheer. That's the spirit.
Pritam was really funny and he has alot of auntie supporters too. Who were screaming for him. The comments on the busloads of PAP supporters and so and so being a ex-army chief need to ensure everyone got their nasi lemak sent the crowd laughing. -
CNA still on. Wonder if they know the cam is still on.
Did anyone hear what the old man they were unconsciously shooting said? After packing up his stuff, he spotted the cam crew and asked (if remember correctly),\"You all from where ar? Channell Newz Acia ah? You all should be more fair ah....\" and he walked off. :rotflmao: Ok, now it is off. -
Did you all notice the ladies on stage put on scarf at the ending part? I think the shirt drenched and become translucent. Need use scarf to cover important parts. Haha…

firstly, thanks to Way2Go :salute: for the live feed link earlier - was quite good quality, kum sia.
next, KUDOS to all the WP speakers and supporters who braved the rain in the latter part of rally :salute: :salute:
I think most forumers already watched the speeches live, but a summary of the notable speeches for those who missed it earlier :
Pritam Singh ( impressive as usual )

- buses for the PAP supporters, LOL
Chen Show Mao ( his usual confident astute self )

Sylvia Lim ( was very touched by her emo-driven speech, drenched )

shocking revelation about HDB's rejection to Hougang's Town Council application for upgrading....despite proposing using ONLY town council's funds !
Low Thia Khiang - explaining the ballot for NCMP

Png Eng Huat - rather disappointing ( though the rain did affect his speech notes - but that did not affect Sylvia Lim :salute: )

:thankyou: Strparent for uploading the videos again!

Rather disappointed with PEH's explanation.

No news on PAP rally huh.
I feel that the rain last night might have helped to garner support for WP. With their MPs braving heavy downpour but still giving their speech on the stage and lasting till the end. Sometimes it’s all these little actions that matters. Hope none of them fall sick as Pritam’s voice seems alittle breaking away when he delivered his speech.
I thought everyone would run away but surprisingly, we still see alot of people on the field. I woke up to find overwhelming support for them on FB. -
Actually the issue of this ncmp was started by peh himself when someone ask him with the minutes which has been prove to be GENIUE he twist his words to say he gave the wrong meaning to what he wanted to be conveyed abit disappointing.
Too bad WP saw a need for a chinese mp to be field if not Prit will have made a better candinate -
MMM:
