hi, how old is your child? Not sure if they do have vacancy at this point? Cos the classes are mostly full throughout the year.
-
My gal just 21months old la, I am kiasu mummy. Hahaha.... I heard the JCK has a long long ....waiting list, so have to register as soon as possible.
My husband and my sis-in-law were graduated from the JCK. But it is long long time ago lor. -
Oh, I see, then perhaps you can enrol your child under old boys scheme, hee hee they do have.
So you mean JCK has been around for so many years?? No wonder they are quite a \"hot\" kindergarten. Heard that some kids stay pretty far away and their parents enrol them there.
Anyway, it's good to register early. My gal will be registering next year for 2011 intake.
All the best to you! -
Lakesidemum,
We visited the JCK this morning. They don’t have pre-nursery class now. sad.....The principal said my gal have to register for nursery in 2012. JCK got long waiting list, isn’t it? Cannot put name on the waiting list now?
:? -
Hi, looks like you will need to only register her in 2012 then. Oh yes, they don’t have N1, only N2, K1 and K2.
Understand that some parents register their kids in Jurong Christian Kindy for N1 and put their kids in waiting list in JCK and trf them when they reach N2, K1 or K2 (provided there is vacancy).
My girl will be registering next March for 2012 intake, she is 2 this year. Maybe you can check with them whether you can place your gal in waitlist now.
My boy is promoting to K1 next year, and he is all excited cos he will be moving up to level 2 of the building and he is so proud over this. He is progressing well there and there are quite a number of "courses" he can take from K1. Eg, art, music and computer. -
Hello...it's been a long...long...time since I last signed in and am glad to see that you have registered your son at Galilee Kindergarten. My gal graduated from GK in year 2008 and I must say she has her most enjoyable Pre-Nursery to K2 years there.
Yup, the Principal - Mrs. Maureen Teo is a very gracious and approachable lady. In fact she was my gal's PN & Nursery class teacher and I must said she is GOOD.
See from the previous thread that you are staying JW St. 61 so are you planning to let your son take the school bus? If so maybe your son will be taking the same school bus as my gal did last time. The School Bus Uncle is a very nice & attentive person so you can reassured that your son will be in safe hand  Btw, his bus no. is 1884...2 prince:

Hi, u can try Read in a week for phonics. Not Bad. $120 per month for 4 lessons (90mins per lessons)Hey, thanks for your information. No, did not sign him up for the Art classes.
Is Jan&Elly good? How's their fees like?
Why didn't you sign him up at Zoo-phonics?
I'm still thinking hard of where to place him for the Phonics.. :? -

Hey,
Hi, u can try Read in a week for phonics. Not Bad. $120 per month for 4 lessons (90mins per lessons)
Thanks, I have signed him up at Lcentral, previously known as Literacy Circle. He started off at Launchpad, a level above Foundation.
Was pretty happy about this, cos when I sent him for the assessment in July, he was not able to pronounce the first sounds of the 26 letters, but just this month, he was able and so when we decided to sign him up at LCentral, he went for the assessment again, this round, he was able to do so, hence started him at Launchpad level.
We concluded that JCK has helped him a lot.
We are indeed happy that he is in JCK, definitely in good hands. -
