          Hi potentialkp,

You’re right, time flies ever so fast. Happy to hear that your DD passed all the small bite test. My girl, on the other hand, barely passed them. I’m very worried for her as going forward the syllabus will be increasingly difficult at every stage. Her problem lies in her Grammar I believe.

My english is lousy esp Grammar. See the way i write, you will know. I can’t really help my DD so send her to enrichment class. DD been with Zoophonics since 4yrs old and it really help her alot. Now sourcing for new class, cos i think the present class(Creative writing @ Zoophonics) she attending have too many students. Any suggestions? I considering mind stretcher for both english and maths.

              potentialkp,

I sent my girl to Windsor Learning Centre. For Wednesday's Maths class, there's only two students, including her whilst her Friday English class, its only her. Thought it was quite a good deal! Unfortunately for me, my girl needs a different kind of coaching. She has very short attention span and do not process fully questions. Now, I'm looking for a personal tutor. But personal tutors are so expensive! 😞

When your DD started (at Windsor)? Do you think the tuition help her?
My DD just got back her Maths Paper 2 and again im happy with the result. Hope she will keep up the good work.

                  Hi potentialkp,

I started my girl at Windsor 6mths before P1. I was v pleased with the results as her reading skills and mathematics understanding had improved very much. Its only in Primary 1 that she seems to have difficulty in focussing. Not that she do not understand but she’s just not focussed.

                    tocadilly,

My DD also have short attention span and easily distracted. Every meet-the-parents seesion that we attended during her Childcare, her Childcare Teacher will alway repeat the same thing:
"She talk alot, cannot concentrate on her work, alway the last few to hand in her work, work pace is very slow but will hand in neat work". I think is because she is the only child. So when her friends or classmates around, she is very easily disctracted.
DD is a little bit better after we send her to Abacus and Piano lesson. She likes to be praise, so i praise her alot.
Luckily her P1 Form Teacher is strict and firm and i would say she handle my DD very well.

                        dear potentialkp,

Ans: My sister and I are studying in the same school.
"Are" is plural. The sentence refers to 2 persons (My sister + I = 2 persons) .
