i bought a dozen of the comic book \"survival science\" series...........

            http://i46.tinypic.com/18nloi.gif\">

the price tag was $7.50 on most of these books. so i chose about a dozen of them. but at cashier, the price was $7.60. so pointed out to them that those on shelves were priced $7.50 and left them to sort the issue out among themselves.

it was a mistake on their side (forgot to remove all the price tag before putting them on shelves) so they charged me $7.50 each as per what was displayed on the books and shelves.

this is a common issue in some shops (ntuc, giants, shop n save, cold storages). price on display and price at cashier different. last week at beauty world, same thing happened. price of coffee on offer till end of may was different from price at cashier. junior staff said no offer....showed her the offer display note...called senior. senior saw item and acknowledged item was on offer. so have to do price correction at cashier's till. πŸ˜“

anyway, it has been a good day today........ds done most of his holiday homework...except for book review and show n tell.

my itch didnt come knocking on my body today πŸ˜‰ .

looking forward to shark fin soup in hk in july......any anti shark fin pp here ????

looking forward to watch and appreciate korean drama now........

a bit more time now to browse thru ksp.... πŸ˜‰ and create havoc in other people's houses http://i45.tinypic.com/6fru3p.gif\">

Was planning to get just one copy....but itchy fingers. Plan to keep some for reading on board plane... πŸ˜„

                    $6  πŸ˜“

Yeah yummy shark fin soup. The restaurant owner can't afford the rent so closed shop for a period. But persistent calls from regulars got him to set up shop at (I think is in or near market). Rental increment is just too :yikes: to bear.

My brother, sil and sis attended a wedding dinner at Mbs last year. The best dish for the nite was the shark fin soup. There were only 5 people at their table...so everyone had a delicious time...yummy yummy yummy.

Dinner for me tonite is fried bee hoon. My helper can cook but maybe not that great but still better than me :please: . So meals at home, we love it. :rahrah:
