      Dear Intermezzo,
I think we can do our part in society, being the more privileged ones (i.e. having the ability and means to fix our own children's problems), by not just \"wondering\" about whether the disadvantaged ones are doing any constructive to put themselves out of misery. Those of us who are successful in life may believe that we made it because we persevered, were hardworking, positive, constructive, etc. But over time, a successful person should also begin to realize, and find it hard to deny that luck and opportunity plays a huge part in that path to success. A first step should be to understand at best we can why the disadvantaged are in that situation, and then try to help them. Rather than assume they are disadvantaged because they didn't try, didn't persevere, didn't possess all those attributes of a successful person.

Hey those supporters are like whistling non-stop and cheering at every comments??? So fake.... Worst if they are not even voters??? I was alittle pissed by this when I attended the first rally.

Ya, now that you mentioned it, DC was like standing up to wave and bow to the audience so often when the other ministers who were speaking mentioned DC's name. It gets kind of annoying seeing that on the video after a while, and it is a distraction from the speaker.

Yes... he likes to do that. We saw it at the first rally too.... He is trying to portray himself as the humble man.... But I think his seniors really spoil the game. The entire impression is :faint:

rather than success at an individual level.

Hm...I like the way you put it.

And yes, doing assessments are stop gap measures, not healthy in cultivating motivation to learn in the long run. I have tonnes of assessment books from relatives who have passed on to me, many untouched, or done only a few pages. Not healthy..not healthy at all. And me? Good for me lah, I need not visit Popular 😆

            Look out for a repeat.

Ya, if you can't attract the voters, bring in the voters, like they do at the rallies. 🦆

at national level, bring in more FTs[/quote]Oh man, don't remind me again.. :faint: I tend to believe that to be the most critical reason for bringing in FTs. :nunchuk: ok, 出招吧!
