my friend showed me her P2 son's MS writer toolbox English sample Compo worksheets. MS taught him use many bombastic words in essay writing.

my friend said too much bombastic words used \"over-kill\" the essay, because ... become \"over-do\" it. After 1 month, she withdrew her son from MS P2 writer Toolbox class, switched to another centre that is cheaper and better, also been established and proven for many years.

my friend also said that the MS compo teacher gave him very low marks for his essay. Her son was discouraged. My friend said young kids need a lot of encouragement, esp. when come to writing essays.

any genuine P2 parents around ?
how do you find MS P2 Writer Toolbox compo writing ?

My DD is with P3 writer’s toolbox class. I find it good. yes, there are so many bombastic words. But I am sure they can not remember all of them. I hope my DD can remember few words and use them in her compo. Few words is good enough for me. She did her SA1 compo well.

There is another centre in Clementi. Joanne Loo Language Centre near shop and save. You can also give it a try. I did not see their notes/compos. I just heard only. I received good comments for this centre as well except from one parent. I think negative feedback will be there for every centre including the well established centres. We must have the luck to hit the correct centre:)
I could not find one (no luck!) for Maths yet. Pls share with us any success story with Math tuition/enrichment near clementi.

          Hope this helps!

I just received a call from MS that my child has been accepted for their HA Math class. Anyone has any experience with their P3 HA Math class?
