but didn't the case I highlighted in my post show the effects of having an alternative voice in parliament? it is only 1 case so far out of the other cases.

no party lasts forever.... even Taiwan's KMT can fall.

Well.. I do support having more Opp members in parliament..

To uphold 2 principles.. Transparency and Accountability..

That why.. when I vote.. it's not so much as support for a particular party..

But rather.. I vote for a system.. a system where there can be effective checks and balances in place.. a system with NO absolute power..

Hey, not sure if I am oversensitive. I feel that everytime the media takes a picture of WP supporters, they like to focus on blue collars, older generations or "ah bengs". It appears to paint that profile.


However the reality is that there are alot of youngsters and white collars who are now WP supporters. Just look at their behaviour during the rally.

Not sure if I am oversensitive, but this is the kind of pictures I see in the mainstream media.
