Thank you Jedamum. My DD did 3 worksheets yesterday. Not bad but bit dry. I asked her to do 3 more worksheets today. Next 2 weeks - real vacation for her. I can try nail those MCQs after that.

I am not sure what will be the next topic in school in Term 3. Systems or Interactions??? Any idea???

different schs tackle different topics - my boy has done systems and interactions. maybe you can email to your dd's Sc T to ask if you want to prepare her in advance (we used to ask during PTM last year, but this year, the syllabus was given out beginning of the year). πŸ™‚

Thank you Jedamum. Ya, I wanted to ask during PTM but forgot to ask. Ok, I will email to the teacher. You mean they covered both systems and interactions in Term 3??? That is a lot for one Term. For us, they asked us to buy diversity, system and interactions for P3. But not sure what is next.

i personally find these 2 chapters to be pretty straightforward although i struggled quite a bit with the systems (memory work on the functions of the parts) πŸ˜“
your kid in P3 ah? since your kid covered diversity (inclusive of materials), probably systems will be in 1 term and interactions in another term. πŸ™‚

[/quote]Thank you jedamum. I have some books related to human body system. I will ask DD to read those books. She will think that I am asking her to read for fun and are not real lessons, but she will learn something in systems

Hi, anyone compares the Ultimate Science Guide for PSLE version with the Science PSLE Guide, 2nd edition from MC publisher? Which one is better? Thanks.

Any of you used nail those MCQs or FAQ by Janet Sim? Please share your views. I have those two books untouched also. Thanks in advance.

Hi! Just sharing my personal experience πŸ˜„
I only have the FAQ by Janet Sim. Last year when I first got the book, I paste out all the answers with white papers as the answers and explanations are given directly below the questions. Make copy and pass to DD1 to practise.

:yikes: After doing one topic - \"Diversity\", I was like :frustrated: :stompfeet: 😒 - why am I doing this ? So, had a small talk with DD1,\" How you think we can make full use of this book?\" She replied,\" We do it together; you cover the answer and I read the question then we both choose the answer (MCQ part)!\" Well, indeed this is a \"practical & easiest\" way for my DD1 and she is more inclined to use this book as a revision nearing the exam.

The book is still \"clean and fresh\" for most topics so I guess I will be able to \"recycle\" for DD2 in 2 years' time!

My DD is scared when she sees that thick book. Always dont want to touch that. I really salute you. Being a FTWM, you spend a lot of time with your DD. Your time management should be good. :udawoman:

I still have many books untouched or only few topics done. So I decided to give a miss to popular fair this time. Feel better now.

I have this PSLE revision guide and ultimate science (lower block). Ultimate science has more details, but I am having only the lower block version. I am not sure about ultimate PSLE version.

No, no I am not good with the time management part - I only try squeezing my time as much as I can for DD1 as of now πŸ˜‰

My DD2 is P1 so still can take some breathe for this year as Science will only come in 2 years later πŸ˜“
