For the one I introduced, the author also has another series, 小朵朵. DS likes it but we feel it's not as good as the other one. If your child likes humourous stories, strongly encourage you to get all 3 books. there is hypy so it's easy to read.

Thanks for your recommendation. I'll see if there is an english version and if available in library. Already have a lot of picture type big books at home. must scrutinize to see if I really want to keep it.

no. all 3 meaning 一年纪的小豆豆 and 一年纪的小豆豆2 我们都是木头人 and 二年纪的小豆豆. These are very very good - DS and I will still exchange jokes from the stories. I would want to reread this if given the chance (or rather time).

As for 小朵朵, I didn't enjoy the story so much. Maybe becos 小朵朵 is a girl, so her stories not so fun. And now that we've read about half that book, some of her stories seem to end abruptly. So I would say, don't bother with this series.

Yes. 2nd set should be from 6 to 9, then there is book 10. I bought the commemorative set so I got all ten. Problem is that number 11 is in different size. Haiz… Kameila and xiao dou dou are 2 sets I won’t ever part with becos they are such good reads.

Do they mention the dimension? I only know they will indicate paper quality. Anyway, the whole series is good…you (and kids) will enjoy.

No, they don't. Just that you mentioned book 11 is different in dimension from book 1-10 which you ordered in a set. For me, I'll have a more mixed bag since I already have the first set of 6 books, now ordered second set of 3 books, and book 10 and 11 separately

Same. It is quite weird to have a set in different size. But no choice. Unless I buy another set…but can see my bookshelf filling up again…oops
