Jennifer:
well, my son said his teacher informed them they will get report book today. this yr is different from past yr in that they have the prize giving this friday, so maybe becos of that, they give out the report book one day earlier? anyway, we will know by this evening.I believe the report would be released on Wed, then to be returned on Thur. It has been like this since my elder boy joined this sch.

Anyone knows how the classes are ranked from P2 onwards? Heard that it goes by first alphabet of the name of the class, for example, first is charity, last is wisdom??

The report book was released on Tues. Heard from my elder boy that this year has Colours Award held on Thur. Then Prize giving on Fri.
Younger boy would be in Hu3 next year. Boy, though his marks are low end of Band 1, his is still below the class avg for EL and CL.
Are children becoming smarter or I did not push enough??? -

My child's's class avg CL also 90. Are we talking about the same class? Gr2? Maths was even higher at 92. I was shocked to see the avg were all in higher end of band 1. -

Exactly. -
For all parents of next year P1 at Pei Hwa, my advice is do not take semester 1 as the honeymoon period IF you are concerned about which class your child will get streamed into P2.
A neighbour who regarded semester 1 as honeymoon kindy days got a shock now that she knows semester 1 and semester 2 exams combined results meant her bright boy is streamed into Kindness. Her boy actually scored near 100 for SA2. -

since it has happened, your neighbour can look at the bright side. her boy will probably be top in class next year. can get prize some more. For all parents of next year P1 at Pei Hwa, my advice is do not take semester 1 as the honeymoon period IF you are concerned about which class your child will get streamed into P2.
