Good afternoon everyone…

good morning mummy, i am new here and wld like to seek some advice. Does your kid who is in K1 still taking naps, for how long ? And how long do they stay asleep at night, from what time onwards? Thanks alot.

mongkok,
yes DD still take nap, and i made this compulsary, longest 2hrs, most time 1 hr… better than nothing, i feel after nap she can concentrate more … her childrcare nap is also compulsary. -
What about night-time? It seems more and more difficult to get them to sleep on time….Then again difficulty to wake them up the next morning….hiaz…it’s a viscous cycle.
Also thinking about P1 school time…if your kid is going to P1 afternoon session, when do you intend to let him/her drop the afternoon nap? -
for 2014, is it afternoon session. i heard is single session meaning morning.

Hi all,
It has been a while since I last posted on KSPF
I hv just turned an official SAHM wef 1 Jun 2012
My DS1 - 1.25m 20kg - is now with Pre-School By-the-Park
PV at NHPS was rejected last year. So it will be a P2C for us at NHPS.
But I have heard gd reviews on QTPS recently - its approach is pretty similar with DS1 Pre-School so I am really thrilled to be able to feel their passion just by reading their monthly open letter.
Their passion, commitment, values, envt etc won me over now!
NHPS or QTPS???? Mmh...... Need a gd + long thought

Good afternoon…
Ya… planned in advance… -
mummy, do you teach substraction now to ur kids ? simple substraction at least ?
any good maths class to recommend ? -

If your child can count backwards, then subtraction will not be a problem. I think initially the hurdle will be the crossing of tens, say before 30 the child should know it it 29 and before 70 is 69 etc...mummy, do you teach substraction now to ur kids ? simple substraction at least ?

I think using those Montessori kind of tools will help the child to visualize. Quite well...
