1/x = 1/(5 *10^4) = 0.2 * 10^-4 = 2 * 10^-5
2y = 12 *10^-3 = 1200 * 10^-5
1/x + 2y = 2 * 10^-5 + 1200 * 10^-5 = 1202 * 10^-5 = 1.202 x 10^-2
