Your feng shui talk is a bit abstract. Since you have been in Nan Hua these year , are you aware of someone who has always been top, top in his/her exam result. If so, the chance will be high. Understand in year 2007, the girl who score 294, she has always been consistently top top in her school results over the years. -
I am voting for Nanyang Primary school, the principal is dynamic and I see my daughter's cousin who is there like super \"chuan\" all the time. Lots of activites and I see that history would repeat itself. The new principal next year is equally dynamic so history will continue on.

Unfortunately not… I had done some ‘research’ on BPPS 2 yrs ago.

I have a friend who has been teaching GEP in RGPS for many years. I recall her sharing with me that RGPS has been consistently producing the highest PSLE T-score average (about 265) among the 9 GEP centres, for quite a number of years now. My prediction is Raffles Girls' Primary. Reasons:
1) It hasn't produced a student in the Top 10 Ranking list in the last 2 years, so with a new principal this year, the pressure is on!
2) Read from other threads that there is a GEP student who tops the GEP cohort year after year (if my memory serves me right).
3) Hope that RGPS, by producing a top PSLE scorer this year, will result in more parents interested in sending their kids to this school so that my DD gets better chance at the neighbouring NYPS P1 registration next year!
So mummies of existing RGPS girls, don't write too much bad things about the school, ok?
According to her, the top few P6 GEP performers (more or less the same handful) in RGPS currently, have also been among the top few in the entire GEP cohort (in Singapore) from P4-P6. So, it seems that any one of these consistently outstanding performers will stand a good chance of topping the PSLE, although not necessarily so. It could be any one -- maybe a kiasu parent's kid !
Having said this, the PSLE T-score is only a reflection of a child's performance in a single examination and may not accurately reflect a child's true abilities. There are too many factors beyond our control eg. I know of someone who took the paper in hospital while nursing a high fever from Dengue - poor thing!
What is more important (my 2 cents worth) is that parents not get too carried away by a number (T-score) and forget to affirm the child's efforts and self-worth, which should not be tied to a figure in the first place. All the best to those waiting for their PSLE results and don't forget to give your kids their well-deserved hugs, no matter what the result ! :grphug:

My prediction is Nanyang Primary School.
Reasons
1. Maths paper was tough, so beneficial for those who are very good in the subject. Normally boys are better in Maths. So all girls schools eliminated.
2. Chinese oral was not easy. Many students have mis-interpreted the picture on the 2nd day. So Chinese standard has to be good to score for this paper. So SAP schools have higher chance.
3. NYPS has one of the biggest number of GEP classes.
Another prediction, top Tamil student : Henry Park Primary School. -

My prediction is NYPS though my secret hope is with MBS.
Reasons:
1. Probability is with NYPS vis most GEP students, past two years PSLE performances.
2. This reason stemmed from my personal experience recently. I will not delve into the details here. Briefly, when we made a visit to the school in Nov, I was met with polite yet arrogant replies from two senior looking admin staff at the GO. With such arrogance filtering down to even the admin staff, the school must be very confident, no? :roll:
Or was it that my DW didn't shave that day to solicit such arrogance:!:
NB: In fairness to NYPS, the matter was referred higher up and dealt with promptly -
Whatever the results, juz remember to pat our children's shoulders on the effort they have put in!
