2015 P1 Registration Exercise for 2016 In-Take

Thought I am the only kiasu mommy. Glad to find this thread in the forum.


Temasek Primary is a very good school.

I know this is kind of silly thought… But still contemplating in doing PV. Distance is 1-2km. Anyone doing PV?

Thanks nlimm, phtthp for the advice. From what I analyse from the P1 registration, the safest bet is still to PV even if i’m within 1 km of TPS. Guess I’ll need to go to the school in due time to find out more about its PV system.


I’m enjoying my little girl who’s turning 3 soon and dread the prospect of her entering formal school. Every morning when she wakes up & enthusiastically asks for homework assignments, I’m thinking inside me "heh…heh…you don’t know the meaning of homework yet, wait till you are P1". I hv seen my nephew & niece who are both in Tao Nan chasing to cope with their homework, somehow lost the free spirit & enthusiasm they used to have before entering primary school.

Hi hi! Joining the KS rank.. My DS was born in 2009, shld be in P1 in 2016.. But don't think we will join as PV, as we are both quite lazy pple..

I will most likely offer to do PV at the school but not sure which school yet. You are not silly. I will still do PV even if I live within 1km.

My twins are registering for 2016 in-take under Phase 2C. We have made our first step by moving to a new place within 1 km from the school of choice. Keeping our fingers crossed…

Dangerous if doing PV for a popular school and not living within 1km. My fren did Pv for St Hilda's and end up no chance to ballot even coz she lives >2km away.

Joining as a PV is not difficult actually. It’s only difficult when the schools you want are popular schools. Yes, some PV interviews are like job interviews.
