Understanding China Today

So BSP is the elementary version of your China study? Yes she is. Frankly speaking, it is not an easy subject.

BSP is the name of the programme.
Students in this programme must take CSC as one of their H2 subject.
BSP is a very good programme I must say, and it’s good for your child to be in it!
Congratz!
They have to do a independent studies (thesis) which is 30% of the subject. -
Hi BSP scholars will have to choose 2 choices to choose from, one being H2 China Studies. And as for the BSP immersion trip it is normally only for scholars, however if your child is interested in going overseas for immersion trip he/she can apply if the school opens application for it :imcool:

This is the 2nd year my child in BSP and she has gone for 3 trips to China. Beijing, xi’an, suzhou, haerbin. 2 trips per year, 2 weeks in June and 6 weeks at end of year. They are attached to Unis there, have lessons by uni lecturers and sight seeing. Each student has a 论文 to do, started at year 3 and to hand up by end of year 4. The 论文 topic is diferent for each student. My child has decided to take CSC as H2. From my understaning, they would go western countries (either US or Europe) in year 5 (JC1), to learn and compare China with Western.
