DSA 2012

I share the same sentiment as you. Doing DSA is like buying insurance for the PSLE. That's why I am also applying DSA for 3 Schools for my DS. So far, he has gone through an interview for a school and will be sitting for GAT for another 2.[/quote]
To my DD and I , all the above 5 schools are schools that we like. If any of the 5 accepts my DD, she would gladly accept the offer. Cos' we dont want to think about she might get into her first choice kind of situation... Nobody knows what will happen to the result!!! Even though she might be good all these years from P4 to P6, but PSLE results is so unpredictable.... BTW theG Tan:
You've applied for many schools, across a spectrum of tiers. Which of these would be your daughter's dream school? And what would your dd do if she was offered a confirmed offer from her 5th choice school? Would she still accept it given that she might be able to get into her first choice school via her PSLE results?
5 schools above are not in order of favourite 1st choice, 2nd and so....
Interview? So early? Which school? -
Zekezachzoom:
This year is tricky... Got Dragon year impact so very competitive yet if DSA get CO from 2nd choice schs tough to decide cos no transfer once CO accepted. Good luck, dragon baby parents! :xedfingers:

APMOPS is considered as international because there are participants from China, Vietnam etc etc -

National level math olympiads are :
NMOS, SMOPS, RI World Math, ACS’s MO (can’t remember what name), SMO Junior
International level :
APMOPS, PLK (HK), AMC (America), AMC (Australian)
UNSW assessment on math is not MO
The above are the usual math contests S’pore kids participate -
