Can anyone give contact number for Kids n Kids? Are they still at Telok Karau? Parents still happy w the program there? How do they teach phonics? Systematic and structured approach? Thanks for your sharing?
At St Hilda’s do they have a structured reading program? Thx!!! -
Hi!
Can anyone give feedback on the following preschools?
1) Shaws at Tanjong Katong
2) Shaws at Mountbatten
3) MMI at Katong Shopping Centre
Thanks! -
If anyone still has the contact from kids n kids, pls PM me....! thanks v much! or email me directly at [email protected].
DS1 (2008) is in LSH-Mountbatten since toddler days. Recently the centre is getting overcrowded. When they opened, they used to have a playroom (now set up into 2 classrooms for N2) and a dining area (which was recently converted to a classroom for toddlers). There seems to be no space for DS1 to move around.
looking for a place to enrol DS2 (2010) into too. -

Yes, I am still very very happy with KNK. They r still at Telok Kurau.
For phonics, KNK is using jolly phonics and i would say they r quite systematic and structured in their learning. KNK to me is a very academic school which i like cos my kids really need not attend any other enrichment classes except for sports and music. I am really impressed by the amount of things that my 3 kiddos (K2, N2 & N1) learned. The teachers are really passionate and very often we will be receiving feedback from them.
However, for parents looking for a play based preschool, KNK may not be too suitable :).
Sorry, can't help you much with St Hilda's kindy cos no personal experience with them. -
My child enjoys being at Good Shepherd Kindergarten. The teachers are kind and they teach without pressurizing the kids with too much homework. Some of my child’s friends left for "greener pasture", only to come running back after 1 or 2 terms in other "better" schools. My child is only 4 but knows things like rectangular prism, cube, etc. She looks forward to going to school even when she’s not well. That’s how a school should be, to instil interest and passion in learning:)
