              Hi,
It really depends what you want or what your child needs πŸ˜„

Since the 1st semester is over, it might be good if you can try the 3B assessment book. A good one that has been recommended here in the forum is the following one:-
Visible Thinking in Mathematics 3B (NEW!)

                Hi hi πŸ™‚

I think I read a detailed recommendation of the P3 books of this series early last year.

Anyone still has the link to that recommendation or wants to share what they think about the 3A and 3B books?

My DS is a fast learner and does not really need to practise much once he understands the concepts (they do a lot of worksheets in schools already). 1A, 1B and 2A did not seem to be useful for my DS and if I recall correctly, questions are quite repetitive in nature (but I have to say that it is based on the few topics he did as we drop books once we do not find them useful).

I suppose P3 books might be different as I seem to recall the detailed review is very good and I was quite disappointed that P1 and P2 books do not seem to match that review.

                Thanks for any sharing!

Champion is right. Different assessment books suit different kids. πŸ™‚

I agree. For a fast learner who has mastered the basics, I would suggest the OnSponge P3 book as challenging practice.

                      Hi PiggyLalala,

                      Thanks for sharing!

So it seems the P3 are similar to P1 and P2 (which makes sense otherwise it will be confusing to the kids if there is suddenly a jump if they continue using this series as they progress). I took notice of this series because of a detailed review in KSP but unfortunately I can't find the link again (will share the link if I manage to find it one day).

Thanks for another confirmation. Can save $$$ and efforts to skip this series πŸ™‚
